Career Opportunity: Systems Support Specialist
(P/T, 24 hours per week)
International China Concern (ICC) is a Christian development organization working with China’s abandoned and disabled children. We seek a part-time Systems Support Specialist, based from our Vancouver office, to lead and manage ICC’s technology platforms, and support the organization’s staff in using them effectively.
The role is key part of the Communications Dept., providing leadership, management and support for ICC’s various technology platforms. The core function is to essentially be ICC’s in-house expert for its Constituent Relationship Management system (CRM) system, fundraising platforms and business productivity systems. The ideal candidate would have well-rounded communication skills and an ability to work virtually to support ICC’s global network of offices. The role is responsible to train and support ICC’s staff, each with various skill levels, so they can use these systems to achieve their daily, monthly and annual goals.
The role is also responsible for helping to manage the organization’s marketing and communications platforms, such as ICC’s website, social media and email marketing applications. As such, the ideal candidate would bring strong understanding of web design, an ability to write code and previous experience with content management systems. Degree, certificate or proven workplace experience of around two years within a like role is preferred.
