FRIDAY 1 May
Today, please lift up Yang Fu Shui in prayer as he celebrates his 16th birthday. Pray for a true sense of belonging and family, and meaningful activities to fill his days.
SATURDAY 2 May
Please pray for the opening ceremony for the new Children’s Care Centre on 11th May in Hengyang. Pray that the ceremony will go smoothly and that all who attend will see our Father’s answers to prayer. Pray that it would continue to deepen relationships with government officials, and be a positive time for the visiting supporters.
SUNDAY 3 May
Pray for Kyla Alexander, ICC’s China Operations Director, as she speaks at a church in North Carolina today. Pray that her words will touch many hearts and pray for a greater awareness of the work of ICC in this part of the world.
Answer to Prayer
Give praise for the joy that the recent China Team brought to the children and staff in Sanmenxia. It was lovely to see the kids outside and especially enjoying the bouncy castle.
MONDAY 4 May
Please pray for Zhang Qiu Xi who will be turning seven tomorrow. As it is now spring in China, it is easy for the children to catch the flu easily with the changeable weather. Pray for better health.
TUESDAY 5 May
Liu Gen turns 19 today. Please lift him up in prayer and ask that his pain will ease and his appetite will improve. Pray for Yang Tu Dong who turns six today. She has just moved into ICC’s care after living three years in the Hengyang welfare centre. Pray that her therapy classes would help her development.
WEDNESDAY 6 May
Please pray for Du Yi who will be 18 today. She loves to eat her snacks and being spoiled! Give thanks that she is good at eating and sleeping, and pray that this will continue.
THURSDAY 7 May
Pray for Su Sen on his 26th birthday. As he suffers from autism, he does not like to participate in activities. Pray for more confidence to interact with others.
FRIDAY 8 May
Today, let’s celebrate Yang Heng Mei’s 10th birthday. Pray that she would learn to independently feed herself; and give thanks for her increased mobility.
SATURDAY 9 May
Pray for Wang Wan Ru on her ninth birthday today. Give praise that she enjoys attending class with her sisters from Ruby room and is making progress. Please pray that she would understand the need to be gentle with the smaller girls.
