The infamous Great Wall of China was built as an impassable barrier—which is how most people see the problem of abandonment in China.
But together we can make a change through Walk the Wall, a global movement to raise awareness of the needs of abandoned and disabled children in China and a call to end abandonment.
What is Walk the Wall about?
David Gotts, founder of ICC, initiated this global walkathon in 2007 with the aim to change the lives of abandoned and disabled children.
By walking the distances of the Great Wall or more, the collective love and support from all participants can form a stream of impacts, bringing love, hope and opportunity to these precious lives.
Each year, over XX cities across China, UK, USA, Canada and Australia take part in this walkathon. Every step counts and together we can walk towards ending abandonment in China!
