Family Partners Programme

The Family Partners Programme (formerly known as Community Outreach Project) is a ground-breaking project established by ICC in Changsha in 2008 to prevent abandonment in China. It works to provide family support services to hundreds of families raising children with disabilities.

Since its launch in 2008, we have worked with more than 300 families, providing access to training, counselling, parent support groups, physical and occupational therapy, special education and vocational training. In 2018, the programme is further expanded to include a mobile therapy van to reach out to more families in the community.
